- Applicants must be fully paid up Braid Tennis Club members for 2015/16.
- Applicants must be British Tennis Members. (All Braid members are entitled to free membership under the LTA ‘Places to Play’ Registration Scheme).
- Applicants must have opted in to the Wimbledon Ballot on the LTA website by 14 February 2015.
- Anyone over nine years old can apply.
- All club members in a household can apply.
- Successful applicants receive a pair of tickets. However, if you are successful you can have only one pair of tickets per household.
- You can apply for as many dates as you wish.
- Applicants are prioritised by
- those who applied last year and were unsuccessful having highest priority; then
- those who were successful last year.
- The ballot is prioritised as above and names are then pulled out of a hat with another committee member. Any member can request to be present at the draw. The applicant is then given the best tickets available for their preferences.
- The secretary puts successful applicants’ names into the Wimbledon online system. The LTA will contact you directly for payment and will subsequently send you the tickets.
- If you decline the tickets the Braid Secretary can re-ballot the tickets to members on the reserve list. However, if you decline tickets you may lose priority the following year subject to circumstances.
- A list of successful applicants will be put on the club noticeboard.
The above procedure was agreed by the Braid Tennis Club Committee on 3 August 2014.
