Can a tennis match go on forever?
While it might seem like a tennis match could theoretically go on forever, in practice, this is highly unlikely due to the physical limitations of the players. However, there have been incredibly long matches, like the 2010 Wimbledon match between John Isner and Nicolas Mahut which lasted for 11 hours and 5 minutes. But, since 2019, even Wimbledon has introduced a final set tiebreaker to prevent such marathon matches. So, while there's no definitive 'time limit', measures are in place to ensure matches don't go on indefinitely. The game's rules, combined with human endurance, essentially ensure that no match truly lasts forever.

Why are tennis ball numbers limited to 1, 2, 3 and 4?
As a tennis enthusiast, I've always been curious about why tennis ball numbers are limited to 1, 2, 3, and 4. After some research, I discovered that these numbers are meant to help players differentiate their balls from others during a match or practice. Each player chooses a specific number so that they can easily identify their own balls. This system prevents confusion and helps maintain the flow of the game. It's a simple yet effective method to keep things organized on the court!

Is Novak Djokovic underappreciated?
Novak Djokovic is one of the greatest tennis players of all time, yet many argue that he is still underappreciated. Despite his incredible career achievements, including winning 17 Grand Slam titles, Djokovic continues to be overshadowed by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in terms of recognition. While Djokovic may not have the longevity of Federer and Nadal, he has consistently been at the top of the rankings for over a decade and is considered to be one of the most dominant players of his generation. Despite this, he still does not receive the same level of appreciation as his rivals. It could be argued that Djokovic has been the victim of a ‘second-fiddle’ syndrome, whereby he is always seen as the lesser of the three greats. As such, it is clear that Djokovic is still underappreciated and deserves more recognition for his achievements.
